Accounts Assistant
Salary: £29,000 to £32,000 per annum

Are you an organised Accounts Assistant who enjoys keeping financial processes running smoothly? Do you thrive in a fast paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail really matter?
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join an established finance team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales ledger or finance administration experience who is looking to join a supportive business and develop their skills within a varied role.
No two days are the same. You'll become a key member of the finance team, working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure customer accounts, invoicing, payments and reconciliations are processed accurately and on time. Alongside your day to day responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in wider finance activities and support the team during busy periods.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the sales invoicing process and ensuring customer accounts remain accurate
- Processing customer payments, direct debits and cash allocations
- Completing daily and monthly reconciliations and maintaining financial records
- Supporting month end activities and preparing information for year end audits
- Managing internal finance administration including company mobile phone and fuel card accounts
- Working with internal departments to resolve queries and maintain efficient financial processes
- Providing support across the finance office and assisting with additional administrative tasks when required
What we're looking for
You'll be someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a methodical approach and takes pride in producing accurate work.
Ideally you'll have:
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Sales Ledger Clerk or Accounts Administrator
- Experience working within a finance office or accounts environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with colleagues and customers
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
Experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

20 x MACHINE OPERATORS REQUIRED IN TELFORD
We are looking for up to 20 experienced Machine Setter Operators to join a long standing food production business in Telford, Shropshire, previous experience within the food manufacturing, food packaging, FMCG, pharmaceutical or packaging sector would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
We are looking for someone who lives within a 25 mile radius of Telford, Shropshire, this role will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights shifts), the starting salary is just over £35,000 per annum, initially rising to just under £39,500 per annum, and then increase to just over £43,500 per annum once fully signed off and trained.
This will be a 2 stage interview process, with the first stage consisting of a numeracy and literacy assessment on site in Telford, Shropshire.
These roles would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as a Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Technical Operator, Process Operator, Skilled Machine Operator, Machine Setter or Skilled Machinist within a production/manufacturing facility.
What You Will Do:

We are looking to appoint a Shipping Operative. The successful candidate will support the preparation, packaging and dispatch of machines, ensuring products are shipped safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands-on role working closely with internal departments and transport providers to ensure efficient shipping operations.
Job Description
- Prepare machines and associated equipment for dispatch in line with company standards.
- Package and secure machines to ensure safe transportation.
- Assist with loading machines onto trailers and transport vehicles.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure machines are ready for shipment.
- Complete shipping documentation and records accurately.
- Support investigations relating to shipping issues and customer feedback where required.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all shipping activities.
